A76 Sanquhar | Bridge Maintenance
This page has been archived. For information on live or future events and roadworks view our travel news.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential scour protection work to the underside of the A76 Whitehill Bridge over Crawick Water, to the north of Sanquhar.
The works will affect traffic at the location from Monday 2nd September until Friday 13th September between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm each day and will be carried out under 3-way temporary traffic lights.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
This scheme will ensure the continued safety of the road user and reduce the need for further maintenance in the future.
We thank road users for their patience and understanding while this work is being undertaken.
