Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential bridge expansion joint replacements on the A78 at the Annick Road overbridge from Tuesday 13th August until Saturday 17th August, between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will be completed using overnight road closures, with a signed diversion route in operation.

Traffic will be diverted via the A71 from Annick Roundabout and travel via the Greenwood Interchange to re-join the A78.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition and safety of the carriageway structures and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
