A78 North of Seamill | Essential Drainage

between Chapelhill Roundabout and Hunterston
16th of January 2025, 8:00pm to 1st of February 2025, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential filter drainage work on the A78 between Chapelhill Roundabout and Hunterston, 3 miles north of Seamill, from Thursday 16th January until Saturday 1st February 2025, between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night. This work will be carried out with overnight temporary traffic lights.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the drainage of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
