SP Energy Networks is undertaking work to upgrade our electricity infrastructure in the area of Shore road, Wemyss Bay.
We are installing underground cables that supply electricity to homes and businesses in the community. This new cable circuit will improve network resilience and reliability and allow the removal of aged Overhead Line infrastructure in the area.
We have worked closely with the local authority in planning this project to minimise disruption to the local community where possible.
Traffic restriction orders will be in place during the works, and we kindly ask you to follow any associated instructions in the interest of safety.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will make every effort to minimise impact to the community while we carry out reinforcements to the local network.
