Our commitment to have a safe and reliable railway for our passengers and freight customers means, at times, we must carry out work on Scotland’s Railway. Sometimes, to gain an understanding of the condition of our structures, we need to close the structure to trains and/or traffic for a short period.
As such, we will be surveying Greenock Road Underbridge, Langbank
Our work is scheduled to take place between the following dates and times:
• 31/07/2024 for 1 night (2200hrs – 0600hrs). – Full closure E/Bound.
• 01/08/2024 for 1 night (2200hrs – 0600hrs). – Full closure W/Bound.
A diversion route suitable for trunk road traffic will be signposted accordingly.
These overnight road closures have been agreed with our trunk road maintainer, Amey Scotland
Working on the railway at night offers the safest environment for our teams and causes the least disruption to our passengers and freight trains.
Our team will always be mindful of the impact our work may have on you and do what they can to minimise this, however, an element of noise is unfortunately unavoidable.
