A82 Old Kirkpatrick | Traffic Loop Installation

18th of December 2024, 10:00pm to 19th of December 2024, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential overnight traffic loop installation on the A82 southbound at Old Kilpatrick, prior to the A898 Erskine Bridge from 10pm on Wednesday 18th December until 6am on Thursday 19th December 2024.

This work will require a single overnight closure at this location and a signed diversion will be in operation: Southbound traffic will join the A811 at Balloch and turn right onto the A809 to Bearsden, then take the third exit at the roundabout onto the B8050 Baljaffray Road, the A810 Glasgow Road and continue onto the A82 southbound to turn at Kilbowie Roundabout and return north for Dumbarton and the Erskine Bridge.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
