A835 Between Loch Glasgarnoch and Loch Droma | Resurfacing Works
A programme of daytime resurfacing works between Loch Glascarnoch and Loch Droma starts on Monday 3 March
On behalf of Transport Scotland, BEAR Scotland will be carrying out essential works at three locations on the A835 between Loch Glascarnoch and Loch Droma.
This resurfacing project starts on Monday 3 March with work taking place between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday. Works are expected to be completed by Monday 24 March.
To ensure the safety of our workforce and members of the public, which is of paramount importance, a 10mph convoy system will be in place during working hours. The A835 will be reopened outwith working hours with a 30mph speed restriction in place as traffic will be traveling over a temporary road surface. No works will take place on Saturday or Sunday.
Access through works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times on all sites.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative said: “These projects on the A835 will help address defects and greatly improve the area for motorists.
“Our teams will do all they can to complete the works as quickly and safely as possible, and we thank the local community and road users for their patience in advance while we complete these works. We encourage motorists to plan ahead before setting out by checking the Traffic Scotland website for up-to-date travel information.”
