A9 Ballinluig | Resurfacing

BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, is set to start essential resurfacing and road marking improvements on the A9 at the southern Ballinluig Junction.

The works will involve surfacing and road marking improvements, starting at 7pm on Tuesday 14 January. Works are due to be completed by 6am on the morning of Saturday 1 February.

To ensure the safety of both workers and road users, night time temporary lane closures and traffic lights will be in place with a convoy system to control traffic safely through the work site. The northbound Ballinluig off slip will also be closed and a signed diversion route will be in place to divert traffic northbound to the northern A924 Pitlochy Junction and then back down the A9 south to the Ballinluig southbound off slip, allowing road users to continue their journeys.

These traffic management arrangements will be removed during the day to minimise disruptions to road users and access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained at all times.
