Overnight Temporary Traffic Signals on A9 between Tomatin and Moy for site establishment works
Road users are advised that temporary traffic signals will be in place overnight on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy for approximately 2 weeks commencing from 7:30pm on Monday 6 January 2025 to continue site clearance and temporary site access construction works.
Traffic signals will be in place between 7:30pm and 6:00am each night, with no works taking place on Friday or Saturday nights, to safely manage traffic flows and minimise disruption to road users.
From Monday 06 January 2025, layby 160SB, situated approximately 200m north of Tomatin on the southbound A9, will be closed to road users . This layby will be utilised to store, process and load timber from tree felling operations to the north.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
These temporary traffic measures are necessary to ensure road user and road worker safety and to safely manage traffic whilst work is undertaken.
Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken.
This planned traffic management is weather dependent and subject to change, please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for updates.
