A9 Crossgates | Road Safety Improvements
Amey is delivering overnight road safety improvements on the A9 near Crossgates in Perth and Kinross between Monday 9th December and Friday 20th December.
The essential maintenance will deliver new vehicle safety barriers on the nearside southbound verge of the A9 to the south of Tibbermore Junction.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken using lane closures on lane one of the A9 southbound.
Work will take place between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night and there will be a 50mph speed limit in place during this time period.
The project, which Amey is delivering on behalf of Transport Scotland, will benefit more than 29,600 vehicles who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
