BEAR Scotland, working on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out essential investigation works to inform future repairs on the A9 River Braan bridge, immediately north of Dunkeld.

The works will involve part-excavation of the existing expansion joint to determine key dimensions for designing replacement of the expansion joints. After the completion of the investigation works, the surfacing will be reinstated with a temporary repair.

Periods of convoy operation with a 10mph speed restriction are expected.
