A90 Lonmay | Drainage Improvements
Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on A90 south of Lonmay between Green Burn and the B9033 crossroad junction in Aberdeenshire from Monday 3rd March to Friday 14th March.
The £100,000 worth of works, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, will include various drainage improvements including installation of a filter drain to replace collapsed pipework, catchpits, headwall and verge reprofiling and chamber adjustment.
These works will help to alleviate flooding problems on the network, improving overall safety on this stretch of the A90 benefitting over 7,850 daily road users.
Work will take place weekdays from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists, the essential maintenance will be undertaken under alternating near side lane closures and temporary traffic lights.
Access to properties and farm at Dartfield via access track will be maintained at all times.
