SCHEME EXTENSION: Drainage improvements on the A90 at Toll of Birness in Aberdeenshire.
Due to operational issues this scheme has been extended and is now due to complete on Wednesday 25th September.
Work is being undertaken under temporary traffic lights on weekdays between 8am and 4.30pm.
Amey is undertaking overnight drainage improvements on the A90 at Toll of Birness in Aberdeenshire between Monday 9th September and Friday 20th September.
The £143,000 project, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, will renew the filter drain between just north of the Toll of Birness junction and farm access at Bogbrae.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken under temporary traffic lights on weeknights between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
All accesses within the traffic management will remain open during the works.
The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce flooding on the carriageway for more than 13,100 road users who use this route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
