A92 River Ore Bridge | Overnight Inspections

A92 RIVER ORE BRIDGE ON THORNTON BYPASS
17th of March 2025, 7:30pm to 22nd of March 2025, 6:30am

Amey is carrying out overnight inspections to River Ore Bridge on the A92 Thornton bypass between Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes from Monday 17th March to Saturday 22nd March.

The routine inspections, which Amey is carrying out on behalf of Transport Scotland, are required to understand the current condition of the bridge.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the inspections will be carried out using alternating lane closures, on both the A92 north and southbound at River Ore Bridge, between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.

Work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday 22nd March.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
