SCHEME EXTENSION:
Due to operational issues this scheme has been extended and further work is due to take place overnight from Sunday 13th October to Friday 18th October.
The essential maintenance will continue to be carried out under overnight road closures of the A95 between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
The diversion route and amnesties to allow traffic through the works area will remain unchanged.
Northbound traffic will leave the A95 at the A939 through Grantown-on-Spey and continue to turn right onto the A940 at Dava, following to Forres before turning right onto the A96 and continuing to Elgin and taking the third exit at the roundabout onto the A941 to rejoin the A95 at Craigellachie. Southbound traffic will take the route in reverse.
Amnesties to allow traffic through the works area will be available at 8.30pm, 9.30pm, 10.30pm, 11.30pm, 1.30am, 3am and 5am each night. Please note that traffic will be allowed through one direction at a time so delays are possible.
All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday 19th October.

Work is being carried out under overnight road closures of the A95 between 7.30pm and 6.30am during the work period.
The A95 carriageway near Ballindalloch is set to benefit from a £675,000 investment that will deliver improvements to more than 1200 metres of the road surface.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out resurfacing on the A95 north of Ballindalloch Castle from Tuesday 1st October to Friday 11th October.
Work will take place between 215 metres north of Ballindalloch Castle and 490 metres south of AF Grant.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight road closures of the A95 between 7.30pm and 6.30am during the work period.
There will be no overnight works on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October. All traffic management is scheduled to be removed by 6.30am on Friday 11th October.
A signed diversion will be in place.

The improvements will benefit more than 2,200 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.
