A96 Kirkhill Forest | Road Stud Replacements
Amey is undertaking the first phase of road stud replacement work on the A96 from Tuesday 1st April to Friday 4th April.
The overnight work will take place at rolling locations between Kirkhill Forest and Kintore during this phase.
To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will take place under overnight convoy from 7.30pm to 6.30am each night.
Work is scheduled to take place under overnight convoy at the following locations:
Tuesday 1st April: A96 northbound from Kirkhill Forest to Clinterty Roundabout at Blackburn.
Wednesday 2nd April: A96 southbound at Kintore from Tavelty southbound on-slip to Broomhill Roundabout.
Thursday 3rd April: A96 southbound from Broomhill Roundabout to Kinellar Roundabout at Blackburn.
All work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Friday 4th April.
The £161,000 upgrade, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will help improve visibility and greatly enhance safety for the 26,000 vehicles who use the route each day.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
