Great Scottish Run 2024
This page has been archived. For information on live or future events and roadworks view our travel news.
The Great Scottish Run is set to kick-off in Glasgow on Sunday 6th October, starting at George Square. The event starts at 08:25AM.
There will be various road closures across the network throughout the day to accommodate for the event.
As a result of this event, we anticipate there will be an increase of traffic on the M8, M77, M74 and local routes in Glasgow.
For more information on the event, and a list of closures, visit the Great Scottish Run's website.
Consider active travel and public transport if you are attending or participating in the event.
