Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the southbound M74 between the Bog Road overbridge and Junction 11 from Sunday 23rd February until Saturday 1st March 2025.

This work will require overnight road closures at this location between 8pm and 6am each night, with traffic management removed by 6am on Saturday 1st March. Southbound traffic will be directed to exit the M74 at Junction 9, follow the B7078 through Lesmahagow and re-join the M74 southbound via the Junction 12 on-slip.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
