M77 Newton Mearns | Essential Resurfacing

M77 Southbound (Newton Mearns)
28th of January 2025, 8:00pm to 31st of January 2025, 6:00am

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the M77 southbound at Junction 4 (Newton Mearns) from Tuesday 28th January until Friday 31st January 2025 between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

This work will require overnight road closures at this location and traffic will be diverted as follows: Traffic will exit the M77 at Junction 4 (Newton Mearns) and merge onto the B7087, then at the roundabout take the second exit onto Crookfur Road and the second exit at the next roundabout onto the A77, where they will be able to re-join the M77 at Junction 5.

Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.

These works will complete a resurfacing scheme which commenced in November 2024.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.

This scheme will benefit vehicles using this route each day, by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
